Any employer can also submit an application. A major advantage of a multi-year permit is that it allows entry into Italy the following year without issuing a decree for seasonal work

Italy offers a seasonal work visa program for non-EU citizens who want to work in the agricultural sector for a limited period of time. This program is known as the Decreto Flussi or the flow decree.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must have a job offer from an Italian employer in the agricultural sector. The employer must also provide proof that they were unable to find suitable workers from within the EU before offering the job to a non-EU citizen.

Once the job offer is secured, the applicant can apply for a seasonal work visa through the Italian embassy or consulate in their home country. The visa is valid for a maximum of 6 months and can be renewed for an additional 6 months.
